I use the Fundamental Value Approach to investing. I believe in the Graham-Dodd Method that involves purchasing stock with a "margin of safety." My approach uses the Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) model to determine a fair value of a company's equity value. In my opinion, using fundamental analysis allows the investor to more fully understand the underlying economics of the firm.
I hold an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and an M.S. from Illinois Institute of Technology. I currently trade commodity options on the floor of the Chicago Board of Trade where I have been a proprietary market maker for over 16 years. I am also Co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Grove Asset Management, LLC, an equity, commodity, and financial futures management firm.
